Letting go, so we grow

Visiting the Australian bush, I was looking at some of the gum trees. I noticed that these wise ones, every season, they allow their old and damaged bark to go, letting it crack and peel off. The effect is beautiful, principally because it teaches us that to keep growing, we must let old damaged aspects peel off. Thus, allowing a newer part of us be visible. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the bush and the blessings by a tribal elder. I am joyful.
